At Endeavours Adventures, we value sustainability and responsible tourism at the highest level to deliver a fulfilling, enjoyable experience whilst supporting local communities. We work with all stakeholders to monitor our operations and strive to continually improve what we do.
Endeavours Adventures firmly recognises the negative impacts that travel and adventure can have upon our planet, with emissions, resource use and impacts upon local economies inherently present due to the nature of our businessโs operations. Equally, we are conscious that the wider travel industry, of which we are a part of, is at a greater risk of labour exploitation, animal rights abuse, damage to natural landscapes and destruction of habitats.
Endeavours Adventures is fully committed to being a sustainable business with a social purpose. Below are the ways we uphold this standard.
We are proud to be climate positive in our travel practices for our challenges, which means we go beyond achieving net zero carbon emissions to create an environmental benefit.
To support this, we work alongside our partners at Amazonas Explorers to invest in Regenera โ a Peruvian-based company that offset carbon emissions across local Peruvian ecosystems, such as the Manu National Park. The contribution that Amazonas Explorers & Endeavours Adventures make goes to help preserve this part of the forest which acts as a carbon sink.
In 2020, we took the Travellers Against Plastic (TAP) pledge to help fight the harmful consumption of single-use plastics through our operations. We strongly encourage participants on our challenges to avoid single-used plastics by bringing reusable products and minimising plastic use where possible.
We only work with sustainable clothing companies to produce any of our current and future clothing.
We use a sustainable business to produce any merchandise, and ensure that none of our products are for single use. Any technology purchased for Endeavours Adventures purposes is refurbished second-hand products.
All of our challenges are locally led, with our guides being local people with expert knowledge and appreciation for the challenge as well as the surrounding communities. We only work with suppliers that can adhere to our ethical principles in relation to fair wages, sustainability, staff treatment and business practice.
Modern slavery is a hidden, growing, yet heinous crime and a morally reprehensible act that deprives a person's liberty and dignity for another person's gain.
At Endeavours Adventures, we recognise that there may be exploitation in any and all business supply chains but are driven and fully committed to reducing and raising awareness around modern slavery and human trafficking in our operation and supply chain as much as is reasonably possible, with the support of one of our Collaborative Charity Partners, Unseen UK.

All of our challenges raise as much money as possible for our diverse causes. Thatโs why we are proud to say that we provide leading industry fundraising percentage, ensuring that more than 50% goes toward our charities. 100% of participantsโ fundraising that goes above the fundraising target stays with the charity that they are fundraising for.
We can work with ANY CHARITY of ANY SIZE on either a single challenge, or an integrated program of challenges with multiple groups, and there is absolutely NO COST to the charity to join - partnerships are made to support and reward the incredible work that charities do.
The team at Endeavours Adventures are always trying to find ways to improve our business, to ensure we remain informed and transparent. We are accredited by Travellers Against Plastic (TAP) and have plans to become members of other accreditation agencies.
Being a sustainable business isn't only about protecting the environment, but it is also about supporting our team as much as we can. Without our team, we would not be able to do what we do.
